Uploading stock from the Denza CRM

Use this guide to bring early VIN and allocation data from the Denza CRM into Dealer Studio. The workflow has two parts: export a spreadsheet from the CRM, then upload it to your dealership’s import stock feed.

  • Your dealership must have an import stock feed set up in Dealer Studio (usually configured by your Dealer Studio administrator). Only import feeds show Upload CSV on the feed page.
  • You need permission to access Stock Feeds under Settings.
  • Treat CRM exports as a planning snapshot. Reconfirm VINs are still assigned to you before uploading (see Data accuracy).

Step 1 — Download inventory from the Denza CRM

BYD Australia provides early VIN data access so you can prepare documentation and schedule customer delivery earlier in the logistics cycle — as soon as the shipping order is initiated and the RDC completes allocation, not only after payment and RDC dispatch.

  1. Log in to the Denza CRM.
  2. Open the Procurement module.
  3. Open the report Allocated main details.
  4. Search by your purchase order or shipping order.
  5. Review the order VINs on the report.
  6. Export the results to Excel (.xlsx or .csv, depending on what the CRM offers).

This export is available even when allocation is only partial and before payment is finalised, so you can plan ahead. Save the file somewhere you can find it for Step 2.

  1. Sign in to Dealer Studio.
  2. Go to Settings and open Stock Feeds.
  3. Find the stock feed your administrator uses for Denza CRM / import stock (the feed name is set per dealership).
  4. Open that feed to view its details.
  5. Click Upload CSV, choose the file you exported from the CRM, and submit.

Dealer Studio accepts .csv files only. If the CRM gave you Excel, save or export as CSV before uploading.

After a successful upload, the feed processes in the background. You can refresh the feed page to see run status and imported vehicles. You do not need to stay on the page until processing finishes.

Exported CRM data is a snapshot intended for planning. In rare cases, allocation can change while vehicles are still in the logistics process.

SituationWhat to do
Before uploading to Dealer StudioReconfirm VINs are still assigned to your dealership in the CRM.
A VIN changed after you uploadedManually remove the old VIN from stock in Dealer Studio, then upload an updated export or correct the vehicle record.

Following this practice keeps your retail stock aligned with BYD allocation and avoids duplicate or incorrect VINs on your website and internal systems.
